Just not that hard this time since it was only a dress and shoes. And it has been a very long time since I have even gotten to wear this. Again, just too hot. It was a going away party, I had new shoes, and took the opportunity to dress up a bit. Undercover are my American Apparel gold shorts which you cannot see. I wore them just in case this wrappy dress decided to do anything other than stay in place.
I used to muse and rant about how Drew Barrymore bought this dress when she came into the store, I missed her by a few minutes. The shoes I bought as my birthday present on my trip to visit my family in California. I took my mom to Melrose and we visited the Fornarina there. I had been lusting over these shoes because of their awesome plaid print, but sadly left before I was able to purchase them. Now that the store here is closed, I just never thought about it again. Until I saw them in the LA store. They were on sale for $22, which is basically what we would have gotten them for with the store discount, so I was very very happy. They're a very comfortable style called the Bea, just like those red cowboy boot style boots I have. I will definitely wear these through the fall.
